1. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online with Born 2 Dance.
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail or an email) regarding your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the sample cancellation form below, though this is not required.
To meet the deadline for cancellation, it is sufficient for you to send notification of your intention to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
2. consequences of the revocation
If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you without delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive notice of your cancellation of this contract.
We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.
For payments made via SEPA direct debit, the refund will be credited to the account from which the payment was debited.
If you have requested that the service begin during the cancellation period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time you notify us of your exercise of the right of cancellation with respect to this contract, compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.
3. Early expiration of the right of withdrawal for ongoing courses, subscriptions, and flat-rate memberships
For contracts regarding ongoing dance classes, class subscriptions, and flat-rate memberships (Purple Card, Black Card, Diamond Card), the right of withdrawal expires early if the following conditions are met:
a) You have expressly agreed that Born 2 Dance may begin providing the service before the expiration of the cancellation period, and
b) You have also confirmed that you are aware that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once the contract begins to be performed (Section 356(4) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).
This explicit consent and confirmation is obtained during the online booking process via the appropriate checkboxes. Once the service has been fully provided, the right of withdrawal expires.
4. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for time-specific recreational events
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities if the contract specifies a specific date or time period for the provision of such services (Section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code).
These include, in particular:
- Workshops with a set date (e.g., “Afro Workshop on September 15”)
- Shows, performances, and events (e.g., tickets to the “Eleganza Show”)
- Private lessons with a specific appointment
- Room rentals for a specific date
- Birthday parties and events with a set date
There is no statutory right of withdrawal for these bookings. The cancellation policies set forth in the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply.
5. Information about trial lessons
Trial lessons are paid bookings that are each assigned to a specific date and time. They are subject to the provisions in Section 4 of this Cancellation Policy, as well as the supplementary cancellation and rescheduling provisions in the Terms and Conditions (§ 7).
6. Note on show tickets
Due to the time-sensitive nature of the event, there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of admission tickets for shows, performances, and special events (Section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB)). The provisions of the Terms and Conditions (Section 24) apply.
