Happy New Year! 🎉✨ We hope that 2026 brings you health, happiness, strong nerves, loving family moments, and great goals. We are so excited to welcome you all back to our home full of positive energy, good vibes, and pure zest for action! We are incredibly grateful to start this year with our strong Born 2 Dance community—with ourstudents, parents, teachers, and all our supporters. Together, we continue to grow, create new things, and celebrate dance, fitness, and genuine connection.
As always, our goal at Born 2 Dance is not just to offer dance lessons, but to provide a home for creativity, joy, and personal growth. Thanks to you, 2025 was an incredible year, and we are excited to announce all the new and exciting things we have in store for 2026.

Studio info & updates
Winter memories ❄️
- Please bring two sets of change of clothes so that you stay warm and comfortable after class—except for high-intensity or kids' classes.
- Please bring two pairs of sneakers/trainers so that our studios remain clean. Change your shoes when entering the studio and please do not dance in shoes that have been worn outside in the snow or mud.
What's new at Born 2 Dance 2026 ✨
Born 2 Dance is constantly evolving to provide our students, parents, and community with the best possible experience. 2026 will be our most exciting year yet—here's everything that's new, fresh, and great:
1️⃣ Brand new check-in machine at the main entrance
No more long waiting times—instead , fast, secure, and controlled access to our studio. We have installed a new high-tech check-in system with a personnel lock at the main entrance.
Access is only granted after successful check-in for a booked course. This ensures that everything runs smoothly, fairly, and securely.
This is how check-in works:
- With your physical Born 2 Dance card
- Or simply use your smartphone in the Born 2 Dance app via QR code if you forget your card.
Important:
For private lessons and/or room bookings, you will receive an individual access code in the future. After entering this code, the personnel airlock will also open automatically.
Efficiency, safety, and comfort go hand in hand here—so that your time at Born 2 Dance starts with good energy, not waiting. 💜
2️⃣ Studios 6 & 7 – new classes, new energy
We've expanded! Studio 6 and 7 now host many new classes. More space means more creativity, more room to dance, and more opportunities for everyone to shine. From energetic hip-hop to elegant contemporary, these new studios are designed for maximum comfort, style, and inspiration.
3️⃣ Completely new course schedule & new dance classes
Our 2026 timetable is full of surprises. Check your course schedule and see what's new:
- Innovative fusion classes: different dance styles combined with fitness programs
- Special workshops for kids and adults to push boundaries and develop performance skills
- New age-specific classes so that everyone is challenged and celebrated + new fitness classes

We believe in transparency and predictability. That's why all membership and course prices are fixed for the next three years. This gives you security—and allows you to focus on what matters: dancing, growing, and creating memories.
5️⃣ One payment method for all 💳
No more confusion with different payment methods: we're simplifying things! All customers now pay monthly, even if the studio continues to be organized internally on a quarterly basis. Simple, predictable, and convenient—so you can focus on your classes instead of paperwork.
6️⃣ “Meet the Team” wall at the reception desk 🌟
Our team is what makes Born 2 Dance – passionate, creative, and full of love. Take a look at the new "Meet the Team" wall at the reception desk and get to know the faces that accompany, inspire, and support you every day.
7️⃣ Reception area redesigned 🏠
Our reception area has been given a fresh new look! Bright, inviting, and cozy—matching the energy on the dance floor. Perfect for chatting, drinking coffee, or simply arriving at Born 2 Dance Vibes.
8️⃣ Pool table for parents and visitors 🎱
We haven't forgotten about the parents either! While your kids are dancing, you can now play a round of pool, relax, and chat. Dance school isn't just for dancers—fun and good vibes are for everyone.
9️⃣ New dance teacher from Botswana 🇧🇼
We are thrilled to welcome a talented new dance teacher from Botswana! She works closely with Karabo and will be teaching many of our dance classes. Look forward to fresh ideas, high energy, and Afro-inspired choreography. This is just the beginning—more info coming soon!
🔟 Pizza machine at the bar 🍕
Hungry dancers? Not anymore! Thanks to Max, Born 2 Dance is getting a modern pizza machine—the quick solution for when you're feeling peckish. Just order pizza and then dance it off later in Zumba. 😄 We also offer soups—perfect for warming up in the cold. The pizza machine serves fresh, ready-to-eat pizzas during classes and breaks. Fast, delicious, perfect for energy.

Snacks, drinks, and small treats are now available at the reception desk. From healthy options to "little sins" – so everyone can stay energized and happy.

Our ultimate membership! Unlike Purple, Black, or Gold, the Diamond Card offers unlimited access to ALL dance and fitness classes—for kids and adults—including:

1️⃣4️⃣ Update Trial lessons (from February 2026)
- Kids: $5 per trial lesson
- Adults: €10 per trial lesson
In 2025, there were over 300 free trial lessons—many did not continue after that. These small contributions help us with planning, commitment, and also out of respect for our teachers and their time. Many came to three or more free trial lessons and still did not make a decision—this is not sustainable.
1️⃣5️⃣ Professional photos & YouTube shoots 📸
Born 2 Dance wants to capture every beautiful moment! Our photographer Sofia is now working with us on a permanent basis. Photos from shows and YouTube shoots are a gift to you—but professional photography is expensive. Last year, B2D covered all the costs so that everyone could get the photos for free. We gave away all photos from Bonanza / Eleganza / Extravaganza for free—including those for YouTube. In 2025, everything was free.
From 2026 onwards, the following will apply:
- YouTube photos: €30 per person (collective package from Sofia)
- Dance show photos: €50 per person (bundle package – Sofia & Michael combined) or €5 per photo
Please contact Karabo only regarding photos in 2026, and not the photographers directly.

Born 2 Dance isn't just about steps and choreography—it's about community, connection, and being there for each other. Everything we initiate is also a thank you to you. We are proud to offer:

Do you love dancing? Do you want to travel, discover, and experience South Africa? Born2Dance is planning a 10–12-day adventure tour from Cape Town to Johannesburg during the fall break (October 2027)!
Contents include:
- Cape Town: Museums, Lion's Head Hike, Bo-Kaap, Table Mountain
- Stellenbosch wine tasting (kids: grape juice tasting), Worcester ostrich farm
- Kimberley Big Hole & historical museums

The final travel budget is not set at a flat rate, but is determined by the group's decisions. Depending on what the majority of participants decide, the trip can be made cheaper or more comfortable. The most important influencing factors are:

- Early booking can significantly reduce costs
- Departure airports and flight times also play a role
- Group bookings can bring additional benefits
🏨 Accommodations
The type of accommodation is one of the biggest budget factors:
- Affordable backpacker hostels / guesthouses
- Standard hotels with more comfort
- Higher-quality or special lodges
The decision as to whether accommodation will be predominantly basic, mixed, or more comfortable has a significant impact on the overall budget.
🐘 Kruger National Park – the biggest cost driver
A stay in Kruger National Park is an absolute highlight, but also the biggest variable cost of the trip. Several decisions play a role here:
- Length of stay (e.g., a short vs. longer safari portion)
- Type of lodge (simple accommodations vs. exclusive safari lodges)
- Type of safari (guided safaris, self-drive safaris, number of game drives)
Depending on your selection, this program item can vary greatly in terms of experience and cost.
