We’d just like to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU for an incredible first quarter of the year. What a powerful start it was! From unforgettable moments in class, to the amazing energy of our dancers, to the exciting changes and growth in the studio—this first quarter was truly something special.
We’ve already experienced so many highlights, and it’s all thanks to you. Our community continues to grow every day, becoming stronger, more passionate, and more closely connected. Seeing our dancers improve, support one another, and shine both inside and outside the studio reminds us why we do what we do. With all the new developments, opportunities, and progress at Born 2 Dance, we are incredibly grateful to have each and every one of you on this journey. Your dedication, your trust, and your love for dance mean everything to us.
Welcome back to Born 2 Dance after the Easter break! We hope you had a wonderful time off and feel refreshed and ready to get back into training. We look forward to seeing all our dancers back in the studio, full of energy, motivation, and passion, as we continue to work toward our goals, improve our skills, and prepare for all the exciting events ahead of us. Let’s get back to work, stay focused, and enjoy every moment together on the dance floor.
Clean and tidy
We kindly ask all parents and students to help us keep the Born 2 Dance facility clean and tidy at all times. The changing rooms and restrooms must always be left clean and tidy after use. We have also noticed that many personal items are left behind in the studio and never picked up, so please make sure to take all belongings home with you after each visit. When children use the coloring books or computer screens at the front desk, parents are responsible for ensuring that all games are properly closed, the screens are left in good condition, and that coloring books and flyers are returned clean to their designated places. Thank you very much for your cooperation in helping us keep our academy professional and welcoming for everyone.

April 18 – Workshops
Free B2D Workshop
Hello everyone, on Saturday, April 18, we will be holding a special training day for all our children at Born 2 Dance. Since the studio was closed for two weeks during the Easter break, this is the perfect opportunity for the children to make up for any missed classes.
This free workshop takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – 4 hours of dancing – and is open to all skill levels and all children at the dance school.
Workshop with Achref €15
From 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., we will have an additional workshop with Ashraf, a hip-hop and breakdance master, who will help prepare the dancers for the Bonanza Show. Please note that this workshop is not free and the participation fee is 15 euros. Anyone who would like to participate in this workshop must register with Karabo at the dance school. We look forward to a great day of training with all of you.

YouTube Shoot Update
Dear Born 2 Dance family, our YouTube shoots will be taking a short break in April and May. In June, we’ll be back stronger than ever, with new auditions and exciting shoots for all dancers who want to be part of our upcoming projects. Going forward, we’ll also be introducing a new and improved shooting schedule: instead of filming many videos in a single day, we’ll now be producing three videos per month.
This change will allow us to create higher-quality content, give each group more focus and attention, and reduce stress and long wait times for the dancers. Our goal is to make the experience more professional, enjoyable, and efficient for everyone involved. May 2026
Starting in May, we at Born 2 Dance will be introducing a completely new and improved structure as we continue to grow and take our academy to the next level. We are thrilled to welcome four exceptional new dance instructors to our studio, each bringing world-class experience and unique expertise.
We’re welcoming a professional Latin dancer who’s traveling here specially from Botswana, a German salsa and bachata champion who is currently a leading figure in the salsa dance scene, a hip-hop and breaking champion, and a contemporary dance professional from Theater Trier who has performed in impressive shows over the past eight years and is originally from Italy. We are truly very excited about these developments, as they allow us to offer all our members even more high-quality training, variety, and opportunities. More information about the classes, the instructors’ names, and the new schedule will follow shortly. Everything is planned for May, whether at the beginning, middle, or end of the month.
1. Lone
Lone is a highly qualified professional dance instructor and the founder of a very successful dance academy in Botswana, with a strong international presence and over 100,000 followers on social media platforms. She specializes in Latin American and ballroom dances and brings a wealth of experience, professionalism, and passion to her work. We are proud to welcome Lone to Born 2 Dance, where she will perform alongside Karabo as his Latin dance partner, marking his return to the world of competitive Latin dance.
Her expertise, combined with her dedication to nurturing young talent, will bring exceptional value to our academy. Lone will teach Latin dance classes for both children and adults, as well as Afro dance, ballroom, salsa, and a variety of other styles. Her attention to detail, her strong teaching approach, and her commitment to excellence will play a key role in further raising the standard of training at Born 2 Dance.
2. Giorgio
We are proud to welcome Giorgio, a highly respected professional dancer from Italy, to the Born 2 Dance Academy. Giorgio is an exceptional dancer in ballet, contemporary, and modern jazz and is recognized as one of the top performers at the Theater Trier, where he has been thrilling audiences with outstanding performances for over 10 years. His artistic expressiveness, discipline, and stage experience make him one of the best dancers in the region.
Starting in May, Giorgio will join our academy and bring world-class training and a new level of excellence to our programs. We strongly encourage all children to take ballet classes, as ballet provides one of the strongest technical foundations for all dance styles and plays a crucial role in developing strength, posture, control, and expression.
Giorgio will also take over our Contemporary Group B, which will be renamed Group C to provide a more structured and focused development path with highly intensive training. Valeriia will continue to lead and develop Group A, which will be divided into Groups A and B to ensure that all students receive the highest level of attention and training quality. We are very much looking forward to this new chapter and the opportunities it offers all our dancers.
3. Achref
We are very proud to welcome Ashraf to the Born 2 Dance team. Ashraf is a highly respected and well-known figure in the international breakdancing scene, recognized for his skills, experience, and contribution to the culture. He is a professional breakdancing specialist for both B-Boys and B-Girls and has trained and taught at major dance schools in South Africa and the Netherlands.
In addition, he is one of the instructors at TUFA, which further underscores his strong reputation within the hip-hop community. Ashraf is also a certified breakdance professional with official judging credentials and has judged various competitions and battles. His deep understanding of technique, musicality, and performance makes him an exceptional mentor for our dancers.
Starting in early May, Ashraf will join our academy and work alongside our team to further develop our breakdance program and take it to the next level. Together with Matteo, he will lead and strengthen the breakdance groups, instilling authenticity, discipline, and high-quality training in all students. We are very excited to have Ashraf on board and look forward to the energy, influence, and expertise he will bring to Born 2 Dance. Ashraf will take over Group B in breakdancing, while Matteo will remain with Group A.
4. New Hip-Hop Instructor
We are pleased to announce that Born 2 Dance will be welcoming a new hip-hop dance instructor to our academy. Since our Academy Levels 9, 10, 11, and 12 combine multiple dance styles, it has been difficult to give hip-hop the focused attention this style deserves.
With this new addition, we are taking a major step forward by bringing on a teacher who specializes exclusively in hip-hop, which will allow us to significantly improve the quality, structure, and development of this style within our academy. We are proud to welcome this exceptional talent from Luxembourg to our team.
He is known throughout Luxembourg for his outstanding dancing and is also very active in the Afro-entertainment scene, the DJ world, and the Amapiano movement. In addition to his work as a performer, he is also a music and DJ producer, bringing a unique creative touch and a deep understanding of music to his classes. We are thrilled to have him on our team and are confident that he will bring fresh energy, authenticity, and a new level of quality to our hip-hop program. His name and all details about the classes will be announced shortly.
5. Laura
We are also delighted to welcome a new dance instructor to Born 2 Dance: Laura. Laura is a German champion in salsa and bachata and brings a wealth of experience, professionalism, and international expertise to the table. At our academy, she will focus primarily on partner dancing and will lead and further develop our salsa and bachata classes.
6. Nerijus
We are proud to have Nerijus as part of the Born 2 Dance team, offering a unique and highly valuable self-defense program for children. In his classes, children learn in a playful yet effective way to become strong, confident, and aware of their surroundings. Through age-appropriate exercises, they learn to set boundaries, recognize potential dangers, and apply simple self-defense techniques.
Beyond the physical aspect, Nerijus places great emphasis on building self-confidence, respect, and mindfulness. The children not only learn movements, but also how to stand up for themselves and handle difficult situations with confidence and composure.
His classes combine physical activity, safety training, and fun, creating a supportive environment that fosters the children’s personal development.

In addition to her achievements in Latin American partner dancing, Laura has a strong background in contemporary, ballet, and jazz. At Born 2 Dance, however, she will focus primarily on salsa and bachata, drawing on her jazz expertise as needed. She is also known for her distinctive style in Argentine tango and is an active and respected figure within Germany’s queer dance scene.
Laura has trained internationally and worked with top professionals in Los Angeles, bringing global experience, diversity, and a fresh perspective to our academy. We are thrilled to have her on our team and look forward to the energy, knowledge, and quality she will bring to our dance community.

Starting in May, we at Born 2 Dance will be introducing a completely new and revamped class schedule that offers all our students an even higher level of training and greater variety. For all students with the Purple Card and all adults with the Black Card, this is a major step forward—well done, because you’ll now benefit from an expanded program with even more classes, styles, and opportunities.
This new structure allows you to train more, improve faster, and experience the true value of being part of a professional dance academy.

A nice reminder that we won’t be having an Eleganza Dance Show this June, as it will take place in December alongside the Extravaganza, making it an even bigger and more spectacular end-of-year event for all our dancers.
